Blue Bite is seeking an enthusiastic and detailed Ad Operations Associate to join our tight-knit Media team. Here at Blue Bite, culture is paramount to us so you'll have plenty of opportunity for crossover projects with other teams including Media Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and more.

The Ad Ops Associate's primary responsibility is to administer each component of our advertising campaigns. The core functions that constitute this role are: utilizing multiple advertising platforms, coordinating with clients on assets and deliverables, trafficking campaign ads, trending/monitoring performance, and providing post-campaign insights and reports. Day-to-day tasks include:

Ad Trafficking:

  • Utilize Google Campaign Manager (DCM)
  • Utilize several Programmatic Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) to purchase Display inventory through real-time bidding
  • Program and monitor multi-faceted ad campaigns to ensure successful execution and performance
  • Diagnose active campaign issues
  • Maintain weekly trending and discrepancy reports from internal and third party sources
  • Communicate with the Media team regarding campaign delivery and optimization needs

Ad Campaign Management:

  • Process proposals and insertion orders/contracts that are ready for programming
  • Optimize and QA campaign assets to ensure specifications are met
  • Provide campaign support to clients, partners, and agencies
  • Serve as the central point for all integrations and technical issues for 3rd party partners
  • Create campaign wrap-up reports
  • Assist the billing department with post-campaign data


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of proven experience with digital ad trafficking coupled with technical expertise is preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exemplary analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and QA operational issues
  • Ability to work independently and initiate own projects, while contributing to the greater team environment
  • Extremely detail oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize several tasks at once
  • Ability to think outside the box to troubleshoot and resolve technical campaign issues
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects
  • Learns quickly, asks questions, and has a desire to further your knowledge in the exciting digital ad tech industry


  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform products, ad servers, data/audience platforms, DSPs, and DMPs are preferred but not required
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Rich Media are preferred but not required
